About the Opportunity

Negociants USA has an exciting opportunity for an experienced sales professional to join our team as the National Accounts Manager. 

Based in the Napa Valley, this full-time role will see you manage key national accounts across the West Coast. You will also prospect new customer opportunities and promote sales revenue and growth throughout the region. 

If you have previous wine or liquor experience and you excel at building and nurturing strong relationships with stakeholders, this is the perfect opportunity for you!

Key responsibilities include: 

  • Developing a national sales strategy for all key accounts;
  • Maximizing revenue and profitability through wine sales;    
  • Implementing programs with a strong customer service focus, attention to detail and a highly organized approach;
  • Providing a high-level of account management to cultivate and nurture relationships with existing and prospective clients;
  • Developing and implementing promotional programs and activities to enhance brand performance; and
  • Managing national pricing and maintaining a pricing grid in conjunction with Territory Sales Managers.

To succeed in this pivotal and rewarding role, we are seeking candidate who have strong business acumen and previous sales and account management experience in the wine, retail, hospitality or FMCG industries.

Our ideal candidate will also demonstrate: 

  • Sound knowledge of wine or liquor;
  • A passion for sales and the ability to hit targets;
  • A flair for networking and building/maintaining relationships;
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills;
  • The ability to multi task and manage your time effectively; 
  • An engaging and approachable leadership style;
  • The ability to coach, mentor and develop territory managers;
  • Proficiency with MS Office and Salesforce; and
  • An unrestricted driver’s license and the ability to travel.
